(More customer reviews)I ordered these earphones for one reason. That reason is a reason that is currently lost on earphone producers of late. That is the inclusion of the "L" plug or "L-shaped" jack. I am like numerous folks out there that were upset when my favorite inexpensive earphones made by Jbuds (see JBuds Hi-Fi Noise-Reducing Ear Buds (Black)) decided to lose the "L" plug and go to the cheaper straight plug.
I keep my iTouch in a nice folio cover (which is even hard to find now; I prefer the ones that open like a book)and wrap my earphone cables around the case (see the pictures added here). With the straight plug, the earphones tend not to last long as the cable ends up getting tweaked. The "L" plug prevents this. Now onto the sound found with these earphones.
Like the Jbuds, these are comfortable. The sound was clear with good bass as well as mids and treble. I adjust my EQ on my iPod to my musical preferences and found no issues with these earphones. I cannot understand spending over $25 for earphones but that is just me. Perhaps it was way too many concerts back in the day and my ears cannot tell the difference.
For $20, you cannot go wrong here. As for durability, I question those who had their earphones go bad so quickly. They tend to sound like my younger brother who destroyed everything far sooner than I did including my original Aiwa cassette player with AM/FM radio.....but I digress......
Hope this helps some of you out there!!
