(More customer reviews)I've used a number of off of the shelf earbuds from major brands for my Blackberry, iPod and Mac - all with mixed results...
1) Good sound for MP3, but poor mic quality for phone calls
2) Good mic for calls, but poor MP3 sound
3) Answer/Mute button in effective/unreliable
I must say, the Nox Scout is the first headset that provides GREAT sound - highs, mids and bass for music with great sound and mic for a phone call. Plus, the answer/mute buttons work as their supposed to work. Best earbuds I've ever owned this far and I've tried them all. Folks on the calls I've been making assume that I've purchased a new phone? No just the headset.
I have a drawer of tangled cords from other headsets I've used in the past and I won't be throwing this inside with them. The flat cord up to the y-plit and the square cords up to the earbuds themselves are tangle proof, I can throw the headsets in my pocket or computer back and instantly I can use them without having to untangle.
I would recommend the Nox Scout highly to anyone who wants a crossover headset for a smartphone, MP3 player and PC use. Outstanding!
