(More customer reviews)I was recently looking for an item to complete a Halloween costume and stumbled upon this hip amplifier through Amazon. While it was one of the more inexpensive units, I didn't need anything fancy.
The product works as advertised with no difficulties in use at all. At 3/4 volume setting, it was more than loud enough in noisy environments (e.g. loud bars and a big party bus).
The headset is relatively comfortable and the speaker is not heavy on the hip.
The only issue I had (which others have mentioned in reviews) was the insertion of the AA batteries.
It takes an extra minute to figure out how the battery panel comes out but you won't break it if you tug on it hard.
