My big complaint with any headset is the fit. Getting earphones to fit has always been a problem for me.
This headset arrived with two very thin rubber ear cushions, both the same size, and two ear hooks. There isn't a lot of flexibility in sizing options. In my case there was no way to keep this in my ear without the hook and with the hook the best it would do is dangle.
For other bluetooth headsets I've been able to use the 1 Pair of Large Clear Jabra Ear Gels for Jawbone 1 Jawbone 2 Jawbone Prime Samsung WEP200 WEP300 WEP500 Jabra JX10 C120 C100 C150 to get an excellent fit. The good news is that by removing the (in my opinion worthless) rubber ear cushion and hook and wrapping a thin strop of duct tape around where the cushion used to be the Jabra Ear Gels perfectly! Now the headset stays firmly and comfortably in my ear. As a bonus, there is a notch in the Jabra gel that aligns perfectly with the small charging socket on the headset earpiece stem. I can recharge the headset without having to remove anything.
Another nice feature; one of the available voice commands is saying "Phone Command". That, for the iPhone at least, gives immediate access to the voice recognition phone features like voice dialing and getting the current time.
So, why not 5-stars you ask? Because the headset, for whatever reason, does not (currently) support a2dp. What that means to you is that you can't use it to stream audio between it and your device; for example to use it as a headset while chatting on Skype. I sure hope the Overloards at BlueAnt will use their firmware upgrade powers to fix this and then I'll come back and fix the rating.
BTW, I feel that honest, effective reviews, accompanied by detailed videos, can take the place of first-hand experiences that are often lacking in online shopping. I've always appreciated the help I've received from other reviewers and try to return the favor as best as I can. I hope you found this review helpful and the video at least entertaining.
