I needed an webcam to do a project on my mac and after doing some research it appears that webcams need to be UVC compatible in order to work with macs. Most webcams do not advertise that they are compatible with macs so finding one is not all that easy. (Check http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/cameras/index.php and search on UVC) Anyways, the image quality with this webcam is rather poor and it does not work well in low light conditions. I'd only buy this if you are looking for a cheap webcam.
